Acid Staining

Concrete Acid Staining

What is acid staining?
Acid staining is using a special stain mixture to produce a chemical reaction between an acid stain and concrete. The chemical reaction of acid staining is what makes the color durable, because it actually changes the color of the concrete.

What can be acid stained?
Patios, driveways, countertops, floors, and anything concrete can be acid stained.

How much does acid stain cost?
The price of acid-staining depends on the size of the area to be acid-stained.

What if there is glue from carpet or other flooring?
The concrete can be stripped with a stripper (our company uses a soy-based stripper so we can be 'green'), ground, scarified, or shot-blasted. Now it's almost ready to acid stain.

Concrete Overlays

Concrete Overlays

If you are noticing wide-spread, deep cracks where obvious settling has occurred, or sunken concrete, including frost heave often caused by cold winter months, it may be necessary to consult a professional contractor to determine whether the original concrete should be replaced or repaired. If the damage is repairable, decorative concrete overlays can be a cost effective method for covering significant flaws and blemishes, while dramatically changing the appearance of indoor and outdoor concrete areas, for much less cost than total removal and replacement.

Choose your Finish!

Concrete overlays and toppings are frequently used in a variety of applications, because they are considered highly versatile from both a functional and aesthetic perspective, for the protection and maintenance of pavement or concrete slab surfac...

Exposed Aggregate

Exposed Aggregate Concrete Finish

Exposed Aggregate is a type of concrete finish where the gravel in the concrete mix is exposed, and the cement washed away, to form a pebbled surface.

Exposed aggregate is typically used in driveways, walkways and patios in an outdoor setting.

This example shows a garden path and steps leading to the house.

Garage Epoxy Floor Coating

Garage Floor Finishing

Attractive garage floors used to be seen only in the garages of car collectors.  Today, for many home owners the garage has become an extension of the living space, providing that extra area where a child’s birthday party can take place with little impact on the rest of the house, or a home gym, housing that exercise equipment that just doesn’t fit in the “spare” room anymore.  When a garage becomes more than just a storage area, that functional gray concrete floor may no longer be particularly appealing.

In addition to adding aesthetic appeal, garage floor coatings can protect the floor from vehicle traffic, oil and grease stains, and any other debris that may fall, adding many years to the life of the floor and making cleaning a snap.

Polyaspartic Floor Sealant

What is the hardest working member of your business?

Your floor!

Sure, your flooring may not get the same attention as your sales team - but ignore it and your business will come to a screeching halt while you shell out hundreds, if not thousands, for repairs.

Make sure you protect your flooring with polyaspartic - the quickest, most durable coating on the market. Polyaspartic can be used on quartz, chips, dye stained concrete or rubberized flooring to create a long-lasting, easy to maintain finish that holds up to whatever you want to throw on it.

What is polyaspartic?

Polyaspartic polyuria is a new polymer sealant that beautifies and protects your flooring. It is crystal clear, fast setting and by far the most durable covering you can use. It outperforms traditional epoxy and urethane and off...

Painted Concrete

Painted Concrete Finishes

Have you ever walked into the lobby of a large business and seen their logo, shiny and vivid, emblazoned on the floor?

Have you ever gone to a courthouse, a restaurant or a friend's patio and wondered how they could have afforded the beautiful marble or tiling?

Have you ever admired an intricate or ethnic pattern, only to realize that it is not a rug but actually part of the permanent flooring?

If you recognize any of these scenarios, then you have appreciated painted concrete!

Concrete is, by and large, the most durable and cost effective flooring and building material in existence. Don't let the dull gray appearance fool you - concrete has a lot to offer and can actually be quite attractive. One of many ways to turn a boring concrete slab into a thing of beauty is to paint it...

Polished Concrete Floors

Polished Concrete Floors

Concrete floors have long been known for their durability and cost saving features. Polished concrete has become a popular alternative to other flooring materials because of those benefits as well as being aesthetically appealing to the eye. Many retailers, warehouses and homeowners are turning to polished concrete floors that imitate the look of polished stone because it is harder and stronger than other floor finishes.

A polished concrete floor has a glossy, mirror-like finish attained by using heavy duty polishing machines fitted with diamond embedded abrasive disks to grind down surfaces to the desired degree of shine and smoothness. These segments are course enough to remove minor pits, blemishes, stains or light coatings from the floor in preparation for final smoothing. Depending on the diamond grit you use to polish a c...

Stamped Concrete

Stamped Concrete Walkways and Patios

Stamped Concrete is a method where a pattern is embossed in the wet concrete, that leaves shapes that emulate more expensive materials, such as flagstones, tiles, bricks or other patterns in the finished slab.

It is cost-effective because it requires less manual labor than the placement of the stones or bricks.

There are no joints or seams to crack an allow weeds to grow, and homeowners can choose from a wide variety of colors and patterns.

Waterproof Decks

Seamless Deck Waterproofing

What seamless waterproof deck system does our company use?
Our seamless waterproof decks are a combination of cement acrylics and resins applied very thin. These are very lightweight and very strong. There are almost infinite options for patterns and colors.

How is our waterproof deck system applied?
A metal lathe is fastened with 1 inch roofing staples at 16-20 staples per square foot to ensure an incredible mechanical bond, as well as the ability to mitigate deflection (movement). The seams of the plywood do not show through, and it does not crack.

Are your waterproof decks guaranteed?
Yes. They come with either a 5 or 10-year warranty. They have been known to last over 25 years.

Waterproof Deck Overlays

This existing deck was rebuilt and decking materials were replaced with new plywood and a concrete overlay.
